With the continuous progress of science and technology, stainless steel pipe fittings have gradually entered the field of vision, which is a new type of pipe fittings with a wide range of uses. In this paper, we discuss the main means of cold processing of stainless steel pipe fittings.
As the main means of cold processing stainless steel pipe fittings, especially for high-precision thin-walled pipe fittings, cold rolling is characterized by strong wall reduction ability, which can significantly improve the mechanical properties, dimensional accuracy and surface quality of materials. According to the process parameters in the simulation results, the simulation results are consistent with the experimental results. The optimized process parameters are used to obtain the better quality of the finished products. The results can be used to guide the rolling production of stainless steel pipe fittings.
The analysis of the bamboo mark defects on the surface of the pipe fittings after rolling shows that the bamboo mark can be effectively avoided by optimizing the working section of the slideway, such as lengthening the sizing section and the chamfering section. At the same time, the cause of rolling defect formed by lug in rolling process was analyzed and compared with the simulation results. Simulation can effectively predict and avoid defects.
