The 1.4301 and 1.4307 stainless steels are also known as 304 and 304L grades, respectively. Type 304 is the most widely used and widely used stainless steel. It is still sometimes mentioned.
Made up of its old name 18/8, this was made up of 18% from the nominal, Type 304 Chromium and 8% nickel. 304 stainless steel, also known as UNS S30403 and 304, is a material with low carbon content.
The Type 304 version is generally preferred because it is the “free working” version. Class of 304 stainless steel tube with good strength and corrosion resistance, it is the ideal choice for almost all products.
Cold working would have increased hardness and strength at the same time, but it didn’t reacts to heat treatment.
It has good corrosion resistance (especially in the case of natural environmental media and lack of large amounts of chlorine salt concentration and seawater) and weldability.
